1440nm~1620nm AR-Coated PM FC Fiber Patch Cable
FiberLife offers PM1550-XP fibers with AR-coated FC/PC connectors on one end and uncoated FC/PC or FC/APC connectors on the other end. AR coatings are designed to minimize reflections when a beam is emitted into free space or coupled into free space. Coated connectors provide an average reflectance of less than 0.5% over the specified wavelength range without affecting the extinction ratio of the fiber (see the AR Coatings tab for a plot of reflectance versus wavelength).

1440nm~1620nm Polarization Maintaining PM AR-Coated FC Fiber Patch Cable
FiberLife offers polarization-maintaining fibers with AR-coated FC/PC connectors on one end and uncoated FC/PC or FC/APC connectors on the other end.
These patch cables feature Kevlar’s FT030-BLUE Ø3 mm reinforced furcation tubing, making them ideal for use with our fiber collimators and FiberPort collimators/couplers. AR-coated connectors are distinguished by a black connector boot and are marked with the letter “A” on the sleeve near the connector. Two protective caps are included with each patch cable to protect the ferrule ends from dust and other damaging factors.
There are several ways to clean AR-coated connector ends without damaging the coating. Gently spraying the connector ends with compressed air is ideal. Other methods include gently wiping with isopropyl alcohol or methanol on a lint-free optical wipe or a fiber connector cleaner. However, do not use dry wipes, as this may damage the AR coating.
